Data We Collect

We collect two categories of data:

  • Information you provide voluntarily through our contact form: your name, email address and the content of your message.
  • Automatically collected technical data: aggregated, anonymised information about your visit (approximate country, browser, device type, referring page) recorded by Cloudflare Web Analytics. No cookies are set for this purpose and no individual users are tracked.

Purpose of Processing

  • To respond to enquiries you send through the contact form.
  • To understand aggregate traffic patterns and improve the site.
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations.

Legal Basis

Processing is based on:

  • Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) when you voluntarily submit the contact form.
  • Our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in maintaining a secure, performant site and understanding aggregate usage.

Third-Party Processors

We use the following service providers to operate this site. Each is contractually bound to protect your data:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting (Cloudflare Pages), DNS and privacy-first web analytics. Cloudflare may process IP addresses briefly for security and routing purposes. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
  • Web3Forms — handles contact-form submissions and forwards them to our email. Form content is transmitted through Web3Forms' infrastructure and is not stored permanently by them. See the Web3Forms privacy policy.

Cookies

This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. A single technical cookie may be set to remember your cookie-banner preference. You can clear or block it in your browser at any time.

Data Retention

Contact-form messages are retained only for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and any follow-up, and for a maximum of two years thereafter. Analytics data is aggregated and retained by Cloudflare according to their policy. You may request earlier deletion at any time.

Data Sharing & International Transfers

We do not sell or rent your personal data. Data is shared only with the processors listed above, to the extent required for them to perform their service. Some of these processors are based outside the EEA/Switzerland; transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Your Rights

Under GDPR and the Swiss revFADP you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Have inaccurate data corrected
  • Request erasure ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Receive your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Switzerland: the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, FDPIC)

Security

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
